Delphinium ‘Excalibur Lilac Rose White Bee’ is a compact, early-flowering variety that produces tall spires of soft lilac-pink blooms, each with a striking white centre known as the ‘bee’. It flowers from early to midsummer, adding height, colour, and structure to borders without the need for staking. The flowers are held on strong stems above rich green foliage, bringing a classic cottage garden feel to any sunny spot.
It thrives in full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. For a refined and balanced display, plant it alongside Lupin ‘My Castle’ for vertical contrast, Peony ‘Alexander Fleming’ for early-season colour and scent, and Iceberg Rose for long-lasting white blooms that tie the whole planting together.
